Hi there, I just read your post. One thing first, people normally post "hello" messages on their own created thread. There are no generic Intro threads. But welcome. I think there are a few who take MBTI too seriously, but as you read more I think you will see that most people who frequent this site are fairly knowledgable about it and realize the things you are saying. It's a guidepost more than anything. As an older INFJ I feel I've rounded my functions out pretty well and can be one of several types depending on circumstances. It's a nice tool to help in understanding, but is not the end all as you have said. See you on the forum!
