I'm an INFJ who has tested as such since my first test in 2010. I know personalities are subject to change (especially when one is young) and it's hardly something I could ever hope to control, but I am secretly hoping mine settles to rest here for a bit; I'm enjoying unraveling the psychological reasons for my pent-up frustrations, inner desire for absolute and total peace and clarity, and the constant struggle that is the war between my deep-seated need for perfection and striving towards my goal to one day help people work through their own mental issues (ha!). I'm an excellent shoulder to cry on and I am a bottom-less ear to pour bitter and heartbroken words into; sometimes I'd like somewhere to pour my words too! I first came to this site seeking individuals like myself who are also of the minority personality type, and despite my reclusive tendencies, I have thoroughly enjoyed the discussions I've seen so far and lately my soul has been demanding its piece of the pie. So here I am!
Psychology: the human psyche fascinates me and I would absolutely loathe myself if I gave up on my biggest passion. So, over looking the fact that I'm terrible at school... University, here I come!
Music: I'm a so-so singer but the amount of time I spend singing would probably lead you to think I'm under the impression that I'm the next American Idol. Well, I'm not. I know this. But a girl can dream!
Poetry: I write, a little. It's nothing to be shown to the public though; I generally write to work through my emotions. My poetry book is full of hastily written murderous rants laced with profanity and exclamation points. Trust me, nobody wants to see that.
- Biography
- I was born in 1997 to missionary parents. I spent the first 9 years of my life in bouncing from France to Senegal, West Africa, and vice versa. I should be fluent in French by now, mais je sais seulement un peu (it's one of those things you say you're working on, but you just...well, aren't). My family moved back to the States in 2006. I reside in North Carolina now. I have no large achievements to brag about (yet); I'm currently just trying to survive college.
