INFJane

I recently found out at work that I'm an INFJ. As soon as I got home I got to researching (like we love to do) what being an INFJ even means. As I read and gathered more and more information, I actually cried a few happy tears. Also tears of total relief! FINALLY, I finally get to know that I'm not a freak who has to hide my real, freaky, weird self! We are rare, but we are WE! I'm not all alone anymore!

I love to go out walking in nature type settings. I love to do research on topics of interest to me. I like to journal my thoughts and feelings. I dream of writing books for kids. I love to visit with my family members. I don't have to feel weird around them as much because they've all known me since birth. And of course, nothing in the whole wide world beats a great conversation with one's own child. It just makes my insides happy! It's so healthy and important to have those really good, loaded with real substance, type conversations with our kids (and I guess other family members as well). I like to also just enjoy quiet time, in the living room, dim lights, and something interesting that I can really sink my teeth into and learn about.
Biography
I grew up always feeling like a weirdo. I knew I was different but didn't know why. I hated school because I wasn't built for that type of environment. My parents split when I was 11. I was pregnant with my oldest daughter when I was 16. I finished school, got married and worked various jobs, some I liked and some I didn't. I realized quickly that I really needed to be doing a job that helped people. I went back to school when my forth and final child was around 1. I became an EA, as becoming a teacher would've put far too big of a strain on my family. Also, my husband at the time would never have allowed for it. I got divorced when my youngest was almost 3.
