I did four different free MB tests on the internet and everyone came up with INFJ. I kept doing them to be sure, and really thought about my answers because of the nuanced differences. WHAT a revelation and validation to know this and to learn about myself. It explains so much to me about some dissonance in how I feel / react, and how other people sometimes perceive / analyse me.
So joining this forum for me is to learn about how other people experience their INFJness, and live in this world. Sharing and learning....
You know, wanting to work for and with people, but craving solitude. NOW I get it. Whew.

- Biography
- Typical change of careers but have settled into a Technical Advisor role in my area of expertise and I am recognized as an 'industry leader'. Soooo perfect to be able to excel and mentor, without having to manage people!!! My area is international development and my focus is poverty alleviation through economic empowerment (how INFJ is that!).
I moved to this career when my kids were of an age where I felt I could travel - I remember feeling called to this work when I was four years old and learned about poverty and suffering. But, life happens and i was a mother early and devoted to my kds (five), so the avocation came later.
I was born in UK, spent most of my life in Canada, and now live in Geneva where I work for an international agency. I am turning 57 in 2010 and my good fortune is to be working hard, loving my work, fulfilling my destiny. BUT missing my kids who are on three continents so hard to have those big family get togethers!
