The second half of your if-then statement does not follow from the first (non sequitur). Valuation only focuses epistemological scopes, it does not alter the inherent content under study. I hear this line of reasoning many times from solipsists and it suffers from reductio ad absurdum. Besides, the initial premise, that personality type may create tendencies towards particular mental disorders, is not verifiable by anyone who isn't actually trained to professionally diagnose and who understands the actual dimensions of disorder. There are very few on these boards who qualify.
