My favourite types of music are black/pagan metal, neofolk, folk and indigenous music, and progressive rock. My favourite artists are Bathory, Alcest, Drudkh, Agalloch, The Moon and the Nightspirit, Ensiferum, Woods of Ypres, Summoning, Opeth, Wardruna, Ulver, Skyforger, Burzum, Empyrium and Jethro Tull.
I'm a very spiritual person and would best be classified as a heathen or shaman of pantheistic inclinations. I espouse a strong belief in symbolic animism, nature reverence and the use of Germanic and Celtic deities as allegories for organic forces, ideas and moods. By modern Abrahamic and monotheistic standards I would probably be considered Atheistic or Agnostic.
I've spent much of my life learning and studying languages. I am fluent in English and French, speak conversational Standard German, elementary Swedish and Norwegian and am familiar with Dutch and Spanish. I also have a keen interest in learning Finnish.
