Oh sure, about both things you say - some issues require years of experience to fully understand, and learning from books, media and observation is not enough; and the way people judge by the looks is detrimental. I'd go further to suggest our whole cultural patterns are severely disfigured by the amount of superficiality we teach each other from very early age. Becomes very hard to avoid, without isolating oneself into marginal state. It's interesting how some cultures have not gone in such direction of development, and this affects their sanity rather positively, it seems.
You kinda surprised me with confirming the quick conclusions pattern; I had the impression that the INFJ themselves are not fully aware they are doing it. It should have some connection with Ni, because, well, Ni could synthesize a lot of data almost subconsciously.
