From what I'm understanding here, they're taking a cop/crime show and toning down the unnecessary forensics/crime talk that existed for the sake of having forensics/crime talk, while simultaneously adding superpowers.
I genuinely think those are two things that those kinds of shows need. Seeing 20-somethings on Bones rattle off things you need 10+ years of schooling for every episode is pretty annoying for me, and I love super powers, so win win!
