you could almost call it a documentary, except the film has no dialogue

I am going to watch it with my grandparents for a film class I am taking. I believe it will improve my filmmaking skills and knowledge vastly. It is a very unique documentary.

Yes, I saw it many years ago. Very touching. It has stuck with me forever. This just made me realize that Samsara came out September 2011. OMG!

Probably one of my favorite films. We have the DVD and have watched it countless times. I came upon it after viewing the koyaanisqatsi and powaqqatsi films. Similar in many ways.

Oh, I see this is an old thread.

rachel - Have you seen Koyaanisqatsi and powaqqatsi? Same cinematographer

Amazing. I was just telling someone about this movie last week or the week before. I'm pleased other people know about it. I saw it almost 10 years ago and it has always stuck with me.
