I want to start this thread because there doesn't seem to be anywhere to just post beautiful things that you might come across....pictures, clips, songs, poetry....
This world is so full of hatred and things that try to bring us all down, to make us cynical, to make us hate...
Sometimes we need reminders of the good things in life...
Here's my first post...it's a video of the winner of "Ukraine's got talent" lolol
Anyhow the story is about WWII....and she writes "You're always nearby" at the end...

The death and birth of stars. I can't find a video but I think the cosmos has many beautiful and fascinating phenomena that keep me in a constant state of awe.

I agree....whenever I watch shows about the universe it always just blows my mind....so amazing, beautiful, mysterious...
What is really amazing is the light you see from the stars in the sky can be millions of years old....just now reaching us....image-question19-large.webp

The universe beyond Earth, it puts things in perspective. Stars make sound, too. Music, like this, I find beautiful for the sheer evocative power. People are beautiful as well, but it is often buried deep. Knowledge, too, is rapturous, like a dream I wish would last forever.

One of the most beautiful things to me is the beautiful smile of a woman, young or older, when I have been put down and am feeling beat up.
 
Today the weather is: Six inches of melting snow on the ground. Fog in the fields.
Soft sighing winds accompanied by trickling water, melting ice. (Which is making me thirsty.)
And thunder and lightning. Winter thunderstorms are beautiful.

I miss the days of sitting on a porch (alone or with a friend/family member) and watching the monsoon sky. Lightening is fantastic to watch. I love things like static electricity and other weather phenomena.
