I cannot believe there hasn't yet been a successful thread regarding this series (At least on this sub-forum). Please feel free to discuss whatever you like within the realms of this brilliant piece of television.
I suppose I could start with how it begin with my favourite director, David Fincher. He was approached by Beau Willimon whom said he wanted to write an American version of the original BBC series (1990-1995). I have watched both versions, and both are equally brilliant in their own various universes and societies. I am just glad that this series is lasting longer (in terms of the no. of episodes).
Favourite scene? Too many to choose from. I'd like to say for now it would be the opening scene for the third series which at its very heart symbolizes the power of the Presidency in less than 30 seconds with the motorcade. I always loved that part.....and obviously, Frank pissing on his father's grave. :bounce:
By the way, since I am going to be doing it often, I am allowing you to post as many House of Cards-related gifs here, too.
