I just saw this movie last night, and it seemed of interest to INs. In this movie, time is the only currency, and the poor are the only ones who run, and take risks. They have no time to waste. They can see exactly how many hours are left in their life at any given second. They are obsessed with the numbers. It reminded me of how I try to live my life, why I try to cut to the chase, and get impatient with people who purposely waste my time. I rarely play online games, or watch t.v., because they are time drains. Small talk: time drain. I can be rather militant about it.
My daughter has taken up the phrase, "Plenty of time for talking tomorrow..." I always say, "You have no way to know that. We could be dead tomorrow." There is no sense of urgency for her, and perhaps too much from me.
