I have a little variety in preference to music, but it always goes back to Indie labels (adult alternative, etc). I am always in the market for finding new music ... so please oblige me! Thank you.

For some reason I like this one... but I digress. You almost read my mind. I joined a thread like this on another forum that went on and on and on for hundreds of posts about this topic.

You're opening up a whole can of worms here. I've played guitar for 18 years and now play cello so a lot of people consider me a bit of a snob

First up - Apocalyptica. Drums and cellos, period. It's a music geek's dream come true!

Next is my all-time favorite band ranked #3 in gold and platinum albums, but rarely receive any air-time on the radio and had to form their own label to release their first album in 1974 (this one's from '91):

I'm also an Oingo Boingo fan since Danny Elfman is a freakin' musical genius in my opinion! Considering I don't hear it anywhere on the radio or anywhere on TV, I'll include this one:
