Music Theory - The tldr version

I think that if I understand music theory more I can become a way better guitar player. It might be nice to truly make my own music one day.

For a few years I've been fiddling around, learning the motions but not really learning deeply.

Te to Ti.

Well, from my very basic understanding of guitar (i'm pretty much a beginner), you get far already with knowing the major/minor scales and a couple progressions + playing/training the heck out of the pentatonic scales.
And a cheap but VERY handy booklet is this one, it has all the guitar chords in it: https://www.bax-shop.be/nl/gitaarboeken/musicsales-gitaarkist-akkoordenboek

Found an amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001STPHXC/?tag=infjs-20

Ah and Rabea also has free basic lesson as well, worth checking out:

Oh and ignore the crazy plays he does, lol. It's all about the basics.
