:P

My father would always remind me of this story. (I was around 4 years old?) We used to take trips every summer to So.Cal. We happened to be on the freeway when this song came on and I liked it so much I stuck my stuffed dog outside the window and made him dance. Well, I dropped him. HENGRY HENGRY HENGRY! My father turned the car around and walked onto the freeway to get that silly stuffed animal for me. <3

These bring out 10th grade memories of singing with my friends in the abandoned bathroom during lunch (Epic Acoustics+No one came in XD )

I rarely relate music with specific memories. My connection is rubbish so I can't check Youtube.

However here are three:

John Lennon's Woman: Lunch time at home when I was little. This played on the radio at 12pm.
Handel's Messiah: Walking to church with my grandmother in the Christmas Eve procession along a narrow winding mountain road. It's absolutely dark except for our candles.
Isley Bros' Twist and Shout: Singing this with my form while dancing on top of the Chemistry lab tables during one of our school protests. We basically took control of the school from the teachers had a massive party and someone burned down a mango tree. Good times. Carrying radios to school was banned after that and the bank about 1/2 mile from the school complained that we disturbed them with our singing. Spoil sports!

Medieval. This is quite self-explanatory, but it was a good game anyway.

not about personal memories of a lost love but of the past in general - being young, etc.

Back in the day when MTV played music videos 80% of the time, this is a song that I loved. I believe I was around 10 years old? Well, in the part of the video where they begin dancing, I would do the same ... when I was alone or THOUGHT I was alone. My mother and sister walked in on me quietly, stood there and watched. When I was done my sister began laughing hysterically. I felt pretty stupid and never danced to it again. LOL

This reminds me of the many times I sat on my own and lived in a fantasy world, flying over vast landscapes I created from my own mind. Beautiful...

This is the song I used to listen to on every walk I went on. I used to lie in a field near my house and imagine the most amazing things... I need to do that again. meep.

The song may have come out in 1982, but it was still rather descriptive of me in high school ten years later. I'm sure the memories it reminds me of speak for themselves. All you have to do is watch the video and most of us here could probably relate...

And this one... hehehe.... don't think I need to tell anyone here about this little gem

The video and song are so powerful. :L This is a memory on its own. It reminds me of times I spent outside watching the stars.

I remember all the long car journey's to Wales, Cornwall and France. Mum, Dad and I were were huge lovers of Genesis, and we used to listen to their songs almost all the way to our destinations XD we had some crazy dances to their songs ^_^ this was our favourite:

I went to Italy for a week's holiday about 3 or 4 years ago with my family. We had our meal outside the hotel because the weather was BEAUTIFUL and the sky looked amazing. There was a musician outside the hotel playing a saxophone (at some points) and the rest of the time just playing selected music off a playlist. As well as my family, there was a wedding going on. I suggested this song to the Musician and he played it and I got up and did a solo dance to it. XD I think I made my family's night XD and the people at the wedding as well o.o

The first time I stole something and felt really remorseful/guilty about it, this commercial kept replaying for Golden Grahams. To this day I get really uncomfortable hearing "So Happy Together."

After weeks of roadtripping we arrived at our destination: a small village by the coast. We were the only foreigners there and nobody spoke our language. We felt like pioneers. The others decided to stay at the campfire, but I wanted to be alone and went down to the shore. It was midnight under a star-filled sky. A majestic and uncluttered sky. Everything was covered in shades of black and blue. A few lights in the distant and the faint giggling of people enjoying themselves. I had a bottle of wine with me, lying in the sand, looking out into the sea and thinking about the girl I fell in love with just days before I left.
