http://www.newsweek.com/photo/2010/11/11/senior-athletes.htmlThere are an estimated 250,000 senior athletes in training in the United States, and every one of them is redefining what the aging body can do. The national and international groups that govern competitions for older athletes maintain records in age divisions by five-year increments. In the sport of track and field, for example, the youngest age group is 35 to 40, and the oldest is 95 and over. These people are continually breaking records in everything from running to jumping, proving that in a society obsessed with staying young, there is a beautiful way to grow old.
