Does anyone have any? Come on, there have to be some tech nerds on here that know how to **** with someone's computer life :m107:

copy/paste image of computer background and then hide all the icons. That's gotta be the big one that's all over the internet. Also changing icons to funny things is easy and annoying for people who don't know squat about computers.

Here are some I know of:

Photocopy a paper clip on the upper left-hand corner of the scan bed. Then put the sheets back into the paper feed.

The megaman effect: Runs on both Windows and OSX. I find the prank works best on Windows, however. Simply open the program and leave it running on the background. Next time someone opens a program, they'll get an unexpected effect.

Change the desktop wallpaper to something gross, maximize a window, then leave.

Plug in a different mouse to the back of a computer, controlling the mouse from a different location. Works well with wireless mice and in computer labs.

Use the hyperlink feature to trick people to click a link thinking it leads to one place instead of another.

The gif with a bug.

Fake virus.
Pretend you're a hot blonde girl.

cant think of anything else

I STRONGLY advise disabling javascript before clicking on that link.

You know, more effort was put into that site that I would have thought, though it is a malicious use of youtube vids.

I did find this amusing though:

<quote>Sorry to those who were trying to get here before, my host was none too pleased with my antics.
OGM, it's back!</quote>

walk into a computer store with your pockets full of ball magnets and throw them all over the room.

Note: Don't really do this.

One time, me my cousin and a mate were playing online games but we needed the friend to be the host, My friend isn't the brightest spark when it comes to computers , So my cousin installed some program to have remote access if something went wrong, oh course we told him what we were doing, but I don't think he was fully listening when we mentioned it. Any Way while we were all on vent talking with eachother, I told my cousin to start swinging his mouse all across the screen and open note pad and start writing stuff like, I know what you did last summer. It was so funny, Listening to my friend, talk about it. He was like Omg guys your not going to believe whats happen to me right not....Whoa this is F**king scary.

Tape a piece of paper over the little light on the bottom of an optical mouse. :)

you can take that a step further, if the graphics card supports flipping the screen
intel onboard usually activated via ctrl+alt+cursor keys
nvidia its in the nvidia control panel

do as normal, but before seting the desktop image, 1st rotate it 180 in paint, save it and set it as background, hide the taskbar, and flip the screen 180 degree.

for added confusion you could also reverse the mouse buttons

This is not a computer prank, but a technical one that was done on me not too long ago. Apparently there is an app you can acquire for iphone where you can call another cell phone and make it appear that it's coming from whatever number you wish. My older step-daughter did this to me using my younger daughters phone number. She then had a recording of a guys screaming about "me" calling his GF on her cell phone. Although I had heard of this app before I didn't remember it at that time. Needless to say I was far from amused. I'm sure that's not legal either.
