Its sort of been played out in the more modern or recent incarnations of the characters from the comics in animated shows, like Batman and the Justice League Unlimited (which I think has been great for reintroducing a lot of classic and lesser known supers), also in some comics trends like the comics featuring the Gotham PD but do you ever wonder if there's a wider contextual story to be told from the "worlds" of the DC and Marvel superheroes?
Like what sort of politics exist in a world of super heroes? It seems a pretty chaotic world and I imagine there'd be perpetual rebuildings of the devastation caused by super scraps, also would the villains all play nice with one another because they have a common foe in the super heroes? That one always interested me, like I imagine they would fued and have have rivalries as much as regular gangsters would.
