Hey Guys,
I'm new here!
Thanks for reading my post. I'm trying to figure out if I'm an INFJ/INFP. The tests I have taken so far (even one specifically designed for deciding on one of both), are inconclusive.
One test says I'm INFJ, other says I'm INFP. For me it's all the same, I just want to know for sure.
Some traits about me:
- As a person, when talking to someone I can be defensive about my core values. However, later on, the stuff that was said will sink in and I will know next time to take that into account (I actually can not help BUT to take it into account). I am very open to feedback about myself though, and willing to improve.
- I prefer working by myself, and I can only multitask when I'm on my computer.
- I am intuitive, and often get great idea's in the shower / at night.
- When people talk to me I can give amazing insights. I don't have any issues inventing ideas on the spot (even while I'm talking). However, some things I need to digest, and then over the course of the next couple of days I will come up with solutions.
- I am good at making decisions, if I have enough time to digest them. Afterwards I decide and stick to them.
- I love sci-fi, dreamy space scenes.
- I am a libertarian and want to make the world a better place.
- I don't like being in the center of attention. I do think though that I have a lot of great insights into things, and it makes my life a lot easier if people know this and listen. But I don't have the ego to go out there and tell them to do so.
- When talking to people, its in our culture (Belgian culture), to 'hint' at something, instead of saying it directly. However.. lately I am finding myself being more direct, and more efficient. It feels good to do that sometimes.
- I grow impatient of people that waste my time, by not being competent enough. I have my own company, and only want top performers. I got used to firing the bad ones, and will do so. I think it's important to have the right atmosphere in the company and also have people being self managed. I don't want to manage them like babies. On the other hand, I would probably feel more comfortable not being a boss. Sometimes I feel like lord of the rings and I'm carrying that ring. It's a burden I take on.
- When I'm in a club and I order a bottle of champagne, and there's lots of fireworks, I hate people looking at me and I don't know which face to put on.
- I'm 34 years old
Thanks!
I hope it's appropriate to post in this forum section etc.
Olivier.
