I also really want to see A Wrinkle in Time!
I'm a bad film enthusiast. I haven't made my list yet, only skimmed the list on IMDB.
I make lists like that every year. This is last year's:

I've watched the trailer... I'm not entirely convinced it's going to be good, but it works with a brilliant premise. I love multi-dimensional thinkingI also really want to see A Wrinkle in Time!
Please do! We could make threads on the films and each give provide our own perspective, that'd be coolSo cool. I'm also going to start doing more movie reviews.
I have a few films to add:
- Paddington 2
- Black Panther!
- Slenderman
- Venom
- Holmes and Watson
- Ralph Breaks the Internet - Wreck-It Ralph 2

Release dates differ a lot between countries. And it has become difficult to stream them ever since the new EU-law has taken effect. I haven't got around to do anything remotely illegal (stream-related) since then. So I thought we might see who watches which movie (and when) and after that, the person watching it opens the respective thread. One film on your list that I wanted to see but didn't was Split. I heard negative reviews so I ducked out. Now, I wish I had seen it.
Agree that we should have a movie review thread. I know there is already a thread on films recently watched, but not sure if that's the same. We could do a monthly movie thread, and then talk about movies released for each month. We can alternate starting the thread. Any other suggestions are welcome
I haven't been watching most of them, because of what I just mentioned. The only ones I did watch were Homecoming and PotC 5 in a day or two. Actually I had planned on doing it yesterdayOne film on your list that I wanted to see but didn't was Split. I heard negative reviews so I ducked out. Now, I wish I had seen it.
Me too. There’s another fifty shades as in the kinky one???? Fun fact: I haven’t seen any of the fifty shades movies yet..... by choice
As I thought - not really worth watching then. I'd been thinking: if I'd wanted to watch porn, I could do that, instead of not-even-soft-porn. But actually, I don't like her and didn't want to destroy my image of Jamie Dornan back from OuaT.@Ginny @flufiang - The Fifty Shades movies: They are not as bad as everyone says. It's not a must have to see the films. It all depends on what you expect going in. Yes, they're over hyped but far more tame compared to the books they are based on.
Have only skimmed the first book but not really read any. No interest in those. it's not porn but yes, there are quite a few nude or sex scenes, but most are done tastefully and sensually rather than scenes of explicit, gratuitous sex. The BDSM aspects are pretty minimal. Most of the love scenes are in the context of two people finding interesting ways of enjoying each other as a couple. Too many people made more of those aspects of the film than it was. Again, it's not the book. At the end of the day, it's a committed but obsessive relationship between two people who want to be together, but have all these obstacles affecting them including family, previous relationships, or they're own reservations. That's the main conflict in a nutshell. Yes, their relationship is not an entirely healthy one but there are movies about serial killers out there so, these movies are not really that serious.
