what picture/song/video describes you the best?

This song (the sound, not the video) describes how my brain thinks functions and process almost exactly (not the emotional aspect though, something else, ironically on the same album, describes that). I have yet to find something that describes something like this so accurately.

Not every verse is me (these words about instability probably not), but "I know I can be afraid, but I am alive" is very precise and accurate description. All my life I am trying not to stay back when fear makes me do that. I usually do what I feel that mus be done, but I always have some fear to fight.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character in this film basically is me. I've never watched a movie or read a book that portrayed a character's behavior, motivations, quirks, and beliefs so similar to my own. It's definitely eerie to watch my personality reflected back from a television screen, especially in a male form. Who woulda thought? :D

I came across this image today and stared at it for about ten minutes; it is a photograph of a sculpture that I believe now resides in Colorado. I can not think of a time when I saw a piece of art that resonated as well with me as this one does. I mean, it is the perfect representation of how I see myself and my philosophy towards life. Two short blurbs on it:

Atmosphere Song

In an Atmosphere song he describes a blue painting with a skeleton looking at the sunset. When I'm in a bad mood that's what I feel like. Like there is a lot of beauty surrounding me but I can't touch or feel it. Like i'm the skeleton.
If that painting was real it would be mine.

Also this one caught my eye at a garage sale so I bought it for 2 dollars, picasso.

If you take in these 5 songs, you will have an idea of, and a framework to understand, who I am.

Song? Fool On The Hill

Day after day,
Alone on a hill,
The man with the foolish grin is keeping perfectly still
But nobody wants to know him,
They can see that he's just a fool,
And he never gives an answer,

But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.

Well on the way,
Head in a cloud,
The man of a thousand voices talking perfectly loud
But nobody ever hears him,
or the sound he appears to make,
and he never seems to notice,

But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.

And nobody seems to like him,
they can tell what he wants to do,
and he never shows his feelings,

But the fool on the hill,
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.

Ooh, ooh,
Round and round and round.

And he never listens to them,
He knows that they're the fools
They don't like him,

The fool on the hill
Sees the sun going down,
And the eyes in his head,
See the world spinning 'round.

Jewel: Life Uncommon
Don't worry mother, it'll be alright
And don't worry sister, say your prayers and sleep right
It'll be fine lover of mine
It'll be just fine
Lend your voices only to sounds of freedom
No longer lend you strength to that which you wish to be free from
Fill your lives with love and bravery
And you shall lead a live uncommon
I've heard you anguish
I've heard you hearts cry out
We are tired, we are weary, but we aren't worn out
set down you chains, until only faith remains
Set down you chains
And lend your voices only to sounds of freedom
No longer lent your strength to that
which you wish to be free from
Fill you lives with love and bravery
And we shall lead a life uncommon
There are plenty of people who pray for peace
But if praying were enough it would have come to be
Let your words enslave no one and the heavens will hush themselves
To hear out voices ring out clear
with sounds of freedom
sounds of freedom
Come on you unbelievers, move out of the way
there is a new army coming and we are armed with faith
To live, we must give
To live
And lend out voices only to sounds of freedom
No longer lend out strength to that which we with to be free from
Fill your lives with love and bravery
And we shall lead...
Lend out voices only to sounds of freedom
No longer lent out strength to that which we with to be free from
Fill you lives with love and bravery
And we shall lead a life uncommon

Shinedown: Burning Bright
I feel like there is no need for conversation
Some questions are better left without a reason
And I would rather reveal myself than my situation
Now and then I consider my hesitation

The more the light shines through me
I pretend to close my eyes
The more the dark consumes me
I pretend I'm burning, burning bright

I wonder if the things I did were just to be different
To spare myself from the constant shame of my existence
And I would surely redeem myself in my desperation
Here and now I'll express my situation

The more the light shines through me
I pretend to close my eyes
The more the dark consumes me
I pretend I'm burning, burning bright

There's nothing ever wrong but nothing's ever right
Such a cruel contradiction
I know I crossed the line, it's not easy to define
I'm born to indecision
There's always something new, some path I'm supposed to choose
With no particular rhyme or reason

The more the light shines through me
I pretend to close my eyes
The more the dark consumes me
I pretend I'm burning, burning bright

This describes me perfectly. The lyrics are like a projection of my soul.
