  • I don't think they're a legitimate cult, because cults typically fill an emotional need for vulnerable people which makes them manipulative rather than what pod'lair is doing which is deceiving and possibly trying to defraud people. A cult would be extremely difficult to recruit and propagate through the internet, I think.

They're just liars in my opinion. They're obviously educated enough to engage in argument, but yet manipulate the discussion throughout.
    I need Pod 'lair!
    Halp me Coach!
I'm staying away from that thread for the most part. Somebody reported a post on it and I went over to check it out. They sound weird....
i had noticed the similarities as well. i'm avoiding that thread though. anyway, aside from DJ, it'd be nearly impossible to do. Most forums mask IP addresses, but DJ could work around that. Not sure he'd see the justification to though.
This is true, and I am still quite young in my early 20s. We'll see what happens down the road. ;)
Hi Billy. My spiritually is part of my introversion; during my me-time, I reflect and sometimes meditate on my life. It is not something I choose to follow, like a religious belief. Yes, there are times where I am not thinking about it in order to get other things done, but that's not the same as completely removing it from my life. It is an essential part of my being and how my mind functions. So to answer your question, the best I can do is put spirituality aside, but it is always brief and in the long term I become very stressed. I tried this during college and it lead to a mental breakdown and an onset of alcoholism. Hope this helps, cheers.
Do you take pride in giving thumbs down when you cannot understand something? I will not return the thumbs down.
I understand. One of my favorite posters on another forum was the same way. She coined the insult "shitgobbling pissdrinker".

stuff is tough with your family and little girls; sorry i didn't respond much in tc when you were talking about it
just know i'm rooting for you. take care and take it easy.
Lol, yeah. Apparently, none of the processes that happen inside atoms happen outside atoms and vice versa. How the hell are you supposed to wrap your head around that?

A (relatively) easy to understand book is "In search of Schrodingers cat" by John Gribbin if you're interested
I prefer learning about the really small as opposed to the really big. I try with the maths of quantum mechanics, I really do. It just hurts my bwain. *sobs*

    Must try harder
