  • Oh no I'm not offended I was more like trying to paint a picture of you. Whether you are a fatherfigure 20 years older than me ^^ or a teen.
Thanks for your responses and encouragement! :) I'll keep searching, no worries.

You're wearing a tin bucket on your head? Maybe you are crazy! Oh well, too late, I already think you're really cool!

And tell me about this book if you don't mind. You've piqued my curiosity now!
The darker emotions are fine. Do you control or choose what you feel? No. Feelings are mostly just automatic reactions to certain stimuli. It depends on what you do with them. The Bible says, "be angry and sin not." In other words, go ahead and get angry. Be sad. Feel it! But don't do anything stupid with that. Don't go and kill the guy you're angry at. Deal with your emotions, understand them. If you don't like feeling a certain way, maybe that's your body/subconscious trying to get you do recognize or deal with something.

Interesting side note: It wouldn't necessarily be wrong for God to be jealous, angry, etc. It's often wrong for us because we injure others, but if God made us all, He's got the right. If God is truly a God of love, then even in his anger he's got our best interests at heart. (Again, not wording it well, but I think you'll get what I'm saying.)
If you haven't, try reading Out of the Silent Planet by C S Lewis. It's a really great book and gives wonderful perspective on the human race. :)
    I'll respond bottom up. ;)

Life itself is chaos? Not necessarily. All life - except human and parasitic life forms (ouch!) - strike a balance that allows the environment to reach a stable equilibrium. There is balance, order. Humans, as you said, are far too focused on looking out for #1 (and their "rights") that they cannot achieve the utopia we should have had. I think you're right - not until God himself descends on us.
Arg, I tried deleting some messages to clean up in here, but they won't go away! Anyone know how to get them off?
Okay its nice to have you year though. I will call you lion and you can call me Michelle or pristine girl ^^ Can you share your number with me then (age)?
Sorry, everyone, I have to wait until later to do the stuff I was supposed to do today...until like 9 o clock, sorry.
The Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Innocence, in other words. And you're right - carefree people (read: children) have a bliss that adults don't.

But I think something even better is in store - the bliss of those who live in a world of love that was chosen, not granted by default. Does that make sense? Adam and Eve knew only childlike innocent bliss. What will it be like when we as a species finally choose love and harmony, and live in bliss knowing we've chosen it, knowing we could have continued to live small, selfish lives. That will be bliss! That's what I'm looking forward to. I still don't know if I explained that or not - it's the first time I've actually tried to formalize this into words, but it's a longing I have, a light at the end of the tunnel that my heart sees.

And it must be nice not to have to search for truth! :) I'm constantly analyzing myself and learning from those around me, trying to find a more deeper, more unifying truth.
KICKASS I RULE! I am so excited!
