My cross/crosses are hard to explain as I am not religious or believe in a god, I am ordained Catholic but was not really raised as such due to my mothers intervention on the matter. They are link to tradition which is the closest explanation. The one in the pic is a Gaelic cross made of pewter, such items are derived from the cross over from pagan to Christianity in the Irish and British isles. They feature more heavily in Ireland where they still speak Gaelic, England however had all traces destroyed by the church and romans.
