  • Haha that's hilarious! I thought the exact same thing! Hmm I wonder if I can convince the admin folk to change it... my J-ness would be much happier... doubt it though, it wouldn't be fair to others.
Yea I have heard/seen most of Jack Black's stuff. People use to tell me I looked like him but I don't see it, I think it was just because we both have the same kind of beard growth pattern and we both have that chubby-lovey look goin on lol!

I was going to say you might not like Red Cliff since it's a war film but since you are a John Woo fan I am sure you'll appreciate it! The action is its strong point. I also watched the dubbed English version so now I need to track down the original full length version hehe.
I meant to watch it because I am a Jack Black fan, just never got around to it.

That's cool you got to see Ghostbusters in theater. I was six when the sequel came out haha! Not sure how I came across them but I watched them both obsessively when I was little, along with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! lol.

I've seen all those movies on my list several times, except Red Cliff because I just watched it for the first time a couple of months ago. Probably watch it again in a year or somethin, it's badass =)
Well the others are forgivable, but you must watch Dances With Wolves and Ghostbusters. I have seen both over ten times LOL. I can watch them all at any time.

I have not seen Be Kind Rewind! That is surprising.
Actually it got buried by videos. I'll save you the trouble, but do check out my blog some time =)

Well I have some different sorts of films, I am a huge movie fan. I posted my top 10 in my blog a bit ago.

    And a few more:
    25th hour
    Moon
    Awakenings

I could name a bunch but I'm sure you've heard of most of 'em.
Oh yea and that one fight was so brutal and realistic, I don't have a hard time watching violence at all but the movie gets you so emotionally invested that it's difficult to watch. Very well done.
I will definitely add that to my movies to watch list. Trainspotting isn't really depressing but it's effed up. House of Sand and Fog made me feel about as bad as Requiem but in a different way. If you watch it it'd have more impact going in blind.

I am bad at typing but I'd guess his character was ISFP.
My friend and I use to have this sort of running joke about how we were going to have a marathon and watch the most depressing movies. We were going to watch House of Sand and Fog, then Trainspotting and then Requiem For A Dream. There were a couple more I can't remember now. Just the idea of it makes me feel bad. We never did it. I've only watched Requiem once and I've only watched The Wrestler once as well.
I really can't pick. They are all unique and good for different reasons. Mostly I like him as a person because he is very uncompromising when it comes to the way he does his projects. The results speak for themselves.
Yeah, we did about a year and a half ago. We had a good run, but our friendships got too strained and the stress of the money aspect of it just wasn't worth it anymore. :)
I can't say I have, but I am now intrigued to say the least.

MF is the initials of a band I used to be in, so I thought it would be fitting.
