  • For my degree program, I have to have so many hours of observing/one-on-one teaching with students in the area before I'm allowed to have a yearlong student teaching/internship program at a local school. Tomorrow I'm going in to a 6th grade class to help them with editing papers they'll be turning in, and holding one-on-one conferences with some of the students to take notes on their learning experiences. It's pretty interesting, but I'm looking forward to later this semester when I go to the high school near by and start working with the high schoolers (I'm double majoring in English and History, so I'm really excited to start observing those classes so I can work towards my certification)
Awesometastic! (if I'm teaching/observing the kiddies though, I won't be able to respond right away)
It's cool lol, I just passed a test which gets me straight into college, I get to finish HS in a public college, but Im sort of nervous sicne I will be wih older people...ohh and I was a bit sick today..Miami is having record cold temperatures.
That's sweet! Thank you! Na, I do have a graphic design background, but don't have any really useful programs at home. :( But Thank you! Has anyone told you lately how freakin' great you are? :D
Me and QP can share that sentiment with you. Winters in Michigan are the pits. It's dark by 5pm, the snow sticks around until late April/early May...sometimes up until June. It's always cloudy too. Winter's are depressing in our neck of the woods.

Those lucky kids! I had to be in bed after rugrats...which was over at 8pm
It just felt like your work, from what I've observed from you. My 'intuition' I guess?

Yeah, my PJ's consist mostly of just shorts. Maybe I should actually buy PJ's one of these days...*ponders* So you're an hour behind where I am right? Is it going on 7pm for you?
*scrambles to make something and call them snow PJ's*
I'll have to try and get you a picture of the river by my parents house tomorrow. It's really neat during the winter! (And I'd love to see your pics, sounds purtty)
I'll have to put on my snow PJs and do a snow dance outside, backwards and in circles.

I hope it's nice where you are. Do you have any mountain views from your place of residence? :) Just maybe I'll be here tomorrow!
Hmm...I could probably get a jump on some of my coursework for next semester, but I'll probably just spend the day here :D
    Haha! Thanks for the rep!

The snow is piling up here pretty well. Already shoveled twice, probably at least once more before I go to bed.

I'm secretly hoping for a snow day for the public schools near me, because I'm supposed to go in and do observations...but I feel like being lazy!
