Hello, my dear. I'm really sorry to hear that life's not so wonderful for you at the moment. I'm sending you a hug and a little ray of sunshine and last but not least, some lemon sherbet.

You know, you have such a great attitude, it's inspiring to see and I'm sure for that reason alone things will turn around for you quite quickly. I do believe that what goes around comes around, in some form or another, so onwards and upwards for you!
Thanks for asking - today I am actually tired, tired, tired, so I'm taking some time out from work to go back to bed and finish the book I'm reading. Lucky, aren't I?

Maybe later I will go for a walk or play the piano or watch a movie. I'm curious, by the way - who are some of your favourite jazz musicians? I'm quite in love with stride piano at the moment, Fats Waller especially. My friend sent me some recordings of his where the original crackle of the record-player can be heard. When I hear those sounds it's like I'm in the 1930's, which is useful since I'm writing a collection of short stories set in that era.
