  • Ok. I was ending it because I said what I had to say, as you have now. I can agree to disagree, since you can't see what I'm trying to say. I'm not a grudge holder either. See you out there.
I understand you are trying to be diplomatic in ending the conversation, but...
No, I honestly don't understand your points, and I think they were misguided.
I admit absolutely zero wrongdoing, and this wont have any effect on my future actions.

That being said, I don't and wont hold anything against you. (I'm not really the type to)
Just relax, and don't assume that it's your responsibility to police the forums.
THAT qualifies as rude/uncaring, in my opinion...
The only reason it needed to be pointed out as a joke was because you implied it wasn't, and/or otherwise made some sort of big deal out of it.
Did you even read the OPs response to me?
I made a lighthearted joke, he responded with another lighthearted joke; the end.
Nobody was offended here. At least, not anybody with any good reason to be offended... Catch my drift?

I can guarantee that you'll find no shortage of "flaming" at this community, if you always actively go hunting for it.
Before you point the finger at other forum members for causing supposed disharmony, consider the possibility that the act itself of accusing people of flaming and whatnot is infinitely more offensive and controversial.

Furthermore, I really feel no obligation to serve as the ambassador of a nation of 300 million people.
I seriously doubt any reasonable person would consider poking fun at cultural tidbits to be sacrificing anybody elses feelings.
He obviously found humor it; the only person here who seems to be offended is you.

So, I repeat, "lighten up", dude.
    Chillax.
Ironically, Slant actually -isn't- an adult.
Kind of an unfair expectation, don't you think?
Hey QP I'm sorry? But that was the butt of the joke, playing on stereotypes.
I felt Barnabas had a more heartfelt meaning then just my name.

"Brother of confort" strange name though for the topic I'm engaged in at the moment
Thank you QP. Now that is a major compliment for me, and I always feel nervous about compliments.. but that one was perfect. :)
hehe, ok, point taken ;) I'll do a shout out this week sometime :D

and thanks for the rep earlier, your words were very kind!
Thanks QP! I'll shake hands with a mummy in your honor (before they drag me out of the museum kicking and screaming for getting my sticky fingers over 3,000 year old artifacts, anyhow...)

BTW, I love your new user title.
<<yep, we are the same. I said almost the same thing in my letter above if you read it.>>

yes I read your letter before I wrote mine, it inspired me a bit, lol!
Are you sure you are not an INFP in a INFJ disguise? :-)
Thanks buddy :) Yeah! Kiss still rock, although I don't listen to them much these days. I'm going to see them in May, roughly 11 years since the first (and only) time I saw them live, so that will be a cool trip down memory lane. Hope you're having a good weekend.
thanks for the positive feedback man (: a bit darker than i normally care to write but those can be the most fun sometimes i will try to write more for poets corner thx again!
That abusive boss? Got fired yesterday. I think it was illegally! I also wrote that troll blog for you! :D
Heh, funny story about things like that. I owe a bar in Detroit money for stuff that got broken one night when we played there. Whoops...

And I think I know what movie I'm going to watch tonight at work!
We should do an INFJf comedy tour! It'd sell out in Toronto (and by sell out, I mean we'd make about 50 cents from the comedy club)
