well i am a bit all over the place, but usually old and new american rock. and i don't know much of orchestra music, though i had a video game once called total annihilation (great game btw) and it had completely original orchestra music. i got so into it, i used to take the playing cd and put it in my cd case in my jeep for when i was in the mood for it. i think if i knew where to begin i might get more into it, any suggestions? and i totally get what you're saying about short writing (i don't know those people) but i do like some poetry, and yeah you've gotta make words go a long way sometimes, though i find a novel to be much more leisurely. its rare that i read poetry much these days, though i always had a strong taste for frost. there was time when i considered poetry as a career, but i would have to become better educated i think, when i write i like to write things everyone can understand for the most part these days. what type of movies do you like? i love pixar movies and tarantino flicks.
