Well, that could be one thing, but I basically meant like having a comfort zone from your full potential. Like a person can stay home all day and neglect the world around them, a person can go to work 9 to 5 and neglect what they really want to do in life, a person can stay away from the water because it's "safer that way" (alluding a fear of water).
Those comfort zones are just barriers for growth—in my opinion.
