True…there are very few working actually for their constituents…Elizabeth Warren…Bernie Sanders…a few more…
I dunno…I think that we has passed a point of no return….now the only thing that we have to do is wait for what the current group has done to really show the negative impact it will have…then I think Congress will be ousted…I think at least two members of SCOTUS will be impeached. And I think we will see some major changes with the role of government in our lives and who serves whom.
I have a positive outlook too…but I don’t know that things will improve….I guess we’ll just have to see.

Well, I have a feeling like I said that in the next decade I bet we will see some shit go down. The SCOTUS is corrupted…the Congress for the most part is corrupted. Citizen’s United about free speech? Bullshit…and they know it’s bullshit. So it’s only a bribe if the person giving the money to the politician is asking for specific favors at the time the money was donated…as if they don’t just become beholden to these rich fucks. They keep shitting down government…not passing budgets…cutting services to the social safety nets of the people…ignoring things like people being gouged for water in Detroit…one of these days the pitchforks and the torches are going to come out and this shit is going to change in one way or another.

Nice analogy…that pretty much covers everything except the guy kicked in the nuts can’t afford health insurance and ends up filing bankruptcy from the medical bills…but they still seize your car, your house, you lose your job because the bill collectors call them and your wages are being garnished and they don’t like that. So you try to go on unemployment, but because you are disabled now from not receiving medical care so you cannot collect that…you get $190 a month in food stamps, and $130 in welfare money a month…not enough to live anywhere but the street.
Before that happens to this country I hope people wake the hell up and realize what has been done to them. We need to return to the rules and regulations of the 1950’s when we had a progressive tax rate and we didn’t have corporate welfare.
I think there will be a tipping point in the next decade.

Well it is remotely plausible. It's just absurd to think that it can be done by mechanical resonance with electromagnetic waves when such a thing doesn't work anywhere else. Is there supposed to be some magical exception where we don't feel the earthquake inducing vibration in the air and in the ground until by some miracle it reaches the intended spot and suddenly begins to work, and only there?

It's not hard to figure out just with basic reasoning and observation that the mechanical resonance idea is a bit ridiculous. Sure, electromagnetic waves exert a force and if you really hammer something enough (or if the object is very light, such as a solar sail) it will move a bit but I don't think anything on the planet could brute force a vibration that would move tectonic plates like that with em waves.
