Girl! I have been meaning to respond to your wall post! I am so sorry I've been tardy on getting back to you

I don't do clinical work! I'm 100% research, but it is applied research! I started off with wanting to do clinical, but I get extremely invested in people and found it to be really hard on my health. I've moved onto looking at how environments impact health and wellbeing, and how we can create therapeutic environments that can both rehabilitate and also be preventative. My shift within the last year or so has been towards learning environments, as I do a lot of work on teaching. This is a huge change considering I began my work with elderly individuals suffering from MDD. But I've found the change has allowed me to feel healthier about my work, and become less attached and invested in those I meet- I'm not focusing on my work and outcomes, rather than trying to help each and every person I meet

Although, it's still there in my teaching! I just can't help myself!
I'd love to know more about the work you do
