Let me find two videos to demonstrate.
So you must have earbuds/headphones for true binaural beats to work.
This is a TRUE binaural beat...if you pull out one earbud at a time it will have a solid tone.
This is a bunch of BS.
It’s relaxing music sure...but it’s not binaural.
There is something to also be said though for monaural beats too...but if you are claiming it to be one thing then is should be that thing imho.
There are some that mix binaural and other types of beats together and sometimes it is difficult to tell if it’s a true beat or not...it really depends on who is putting it out...for instance...I trust most of what these folks make - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPF-YXh4LdqA7sykdjpPrHw/videos
But they are difficult to fully tell all the time for example.
The idea is that two different tones are played in each ear - so if your right ear is at 200Hz and your left is at 204Hz then you have a difference of 4Hz which then creates a “beat” or pulse in your head when both tones are played in stereo.

So you can cross reference what ails you with what frequency you choose to work with.
Like I said...I work usually with 4Hz...sometimes 4.5...with headache pain sometimes 0.9Hz.
Anyway...your own brainwaves eventually start to match the beats if you can maintain a meditative state...and some can help you do that also.
I mainly put them on to block out distracting noises, but I figure why not try this or that one?
When I was self-inducing an OOB state I was using 4Hz or even a bit slower at like 3.9 or 3.8.
They have that list, but it’s still subjective to whatever works best for you!
That is awesome that you found a good a positive way to channel some of your energy.
Sometimes it’s anxious energy from legit sources, but mostly it’s just there churning away for no apparent reason, lol.
I can deal with it though...it’s nothing compared to when I was having real bad anxiety issues.

Especially certain folks....sometimes I will just pass a car or it will pass me and I get random negative vibes that seemingly have nothing to do with my own thought process, but I dunno for sure about that.
The US military teaches in it’s own spy manuals NOT to look at the back of the person you are following or trying to get close to for whatever nefarious purposes lest they “feel” your eyes on them, turn around and bust you out.
They are taught to not look at them until the last moment because there really is a sense of being stared at.

Thank you so much for the patient and in depth explanation once more! It really helped clarifying some things for me. I'm looking forward to checking into velos and more into binaural beats (and read that pdf when I'm a bit more unburdened), and will gladly share as soon as there is something I found shareable.
(For me it always felt like we all carry everything within us in a way but it's rather unconscious.. Some things may be more important and richer in a way than other parts. So sometimes when you mind your own business it can happen that there is some kind of energy spark shortage or you are at some kind of equal unconscious wavelength with someone else who is just passing by. Instant balancing of energy. Since the world does not really waste any of it. - But there are also the great positive energy bursts from other people.. and sometimes I think within for example a hug it's a great way to catch someone else with low or bad energy in need.)
