Does anyone else blush spontaneously when in awkward situations or when talking to certain people? I've spent my whole adult life trying to ignore/overcome it but it's reeeeally annoying & I can't control it.
Is this a real question? Everyone blushes when they get embarrassed.

I went through a phase during university, when I would blush if I became the focus of attention - group leader in the laboratory, asked to assist the prof., etc.Does anyone else blush spontaneously when in awkward situations or when talking to certain people? For me it's if I meet someone I know in the supermarket, have to speak in meetings at work and anything that takes me by surprise socially. So I try & avoid surprises. I would hate a surprise part lol!
Free2be - your username expresses how comfortable you are in your own (pink!) skin. I hope to get there one day...
P.S. Why is bright piggy pink underlined in blue? Funny!

Seriously you never blush?! WOW! My first time was at school I was about 10 and we had a special assembly because someone had stolen something. I blushed the whole time (even though I wasn't the thief lol) and have never looked back. It seemed to coincide with puberty, maybe it's my hormones!! Maybe when I hit menopause it will suddenly stop.![]()
I'm a male so it's hard not to think of this as a weakness. Just this week I was trying to see how it could be considered a strength.
Yea, same for me, I feel ashamed of it when I blush, I feel like it makes me a lesser person and girls probably don't see it as a positive/cute thing when guys blush either.
I have no idea on how to consider blushing as a strenght though...
A man who blushes is absolutely adorable...
And it makes me want to try to make him blush again and again.
Do you think it makes girls weaker or a lesser person when they do it?
Free knows.![]()
