Cognitive Processes

Why must your results be so goddamn confusing? That most closely resembles ISTJ, but even then it is a bit loose. The confusing part is you have a really heavy weight on T which would imply ISTP or ESTJ, neither of which seems to fit.

I don't see how you could possibly be INTJ though with Ni that far at the bottom.

the way that Ni is defined by that site lays out a more routine internal inventory at higher levels... Which I do but usually when I push a limit or am not familiar with where I am. Whole ain't broken don't fix has kept me going well...

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Thinking (Te): Measuring and constructing for progress. Making decisions objectively based on evidence and measures. Checking if things function properly. Applying a procedure to control events and complete goals.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTJ, or INFJ

11. Achieve a metamorphosis, definitive insight, or powerful vision of change.

This test is effing ridiculous.

Sorry Indy, but I'm gonna have to give you a look of scepticism on this one.

If these are words of encouragement, I've seen him pull shit out of thin air so to speak and work with it. No prompting no concrete platform it just happens.

Yeah, I'm going to have to back Indy on this one. I've experienced a lot of that too.

Truthfully I don't even know what most of this means. According to this I would be ISFJ rather than INFJ, but who knows.

ENFJ, if not, consider INFJ or ESFJ.

Regardless of type, I think this is the right cognitive breakdown for me.

Hmm, I wonder what kind of career would suit this kind of cognition preference...

Teacher! My ex (ESFJ) is an extremely good elementary school teacher. I bet ENFJ have great talent for teaching too. I'm an INFJ and I love teaching, I just don't like being around people more than one at a time. :)

Your Cognitive Development Profile

The forty-eight questions you rated earlier tap into the eight cognitive processes. Some questions tapped into basic or developed use of a process used by itself, while other questions tapped into use of multiple processes at once. The profile below is based on your responses. The number of squares indicate strength of response. The equivalent numeric is shown in parentheses along with likely level of development.

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Theorist; secondly Stabilizer; then Catalyst; and lastly, Improviser.

I'm beginning to feel more and more comfortable with the ENFJ label. My Fi, as usual, remains rather pathetic.

Noooo, come wiff me. We can do all sorts of exciting things with lots and lots of people.

Yeah, I'm going to have to back Indy on this one. I've experienced a lot of that too.
But I would never ever ever decribe it as that. All the questions about Ni were complete BS and flaky gibberish to me. I have ZERO mysticism about how I think. Just cause some consiger Ni to be magic, doesn't mean another strong Ni does too. I'd like to see a complete revamp of this test and the site's decription of Ni to be something that ALL Ni's could relate to and recognize.

In fact, I wanted to NOT pick any of the Ni question just because the mystical way it was portrayed offended me.
