@dang Sleight of mind

Is WWIII inevitable? I believe it will begin in fewer than 10 years. Prove me wrong.

Already happening imo. Syria is the last spot in the Middle East to be taken over before everything is set into place.

I mean an American declaration of all out war which drags the UK, Israel, Iran, Russia, and even China into combat.

Funny how this is basically a two man thread. I would prefer more perspectives. Why are people so wary of posting here? Very interesting.

Hey that's my spot! I've just been experiencing technical difficulties of late.

Everything poster #1 said.

CIA was born out of the OSS/OSI, was infiltrated with Nazi's from the get go, then a bunch of Bolsheviks. Alex Constantine is my favorite anti Fascist researcher, following in the footsteps of Mae Brussell.

I would have been here sooner but the title is not indicative of the subject.

Are you afraid of this thread? I feel you could contribute and challenge us as well. I am once again becoming more open minded with regard to "conspiracy theories." If you challenge the status quo stories of reality you are labeled a crank or crazy person. Obviously there are plenty of screwed up conspiracy theorists, but just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't after you. How is your "fantasy conspiracy lifestyle" treating you? Just teasing. I honestly think that the movie They Live is surprisingly accurate. People are in denial. The dark side is winning. Traumatic events are being planned. What is your take on Brexit? The Orlando incident? President/Queen Hillary? Let's do this. Or are you afraid of the rabbit hole all of a sudden? Have they gotten to you? Have you made a deal with the devil also? Nooooooooooo!

Down the rabbit hole we go. Beware of what you may find. Children's toys can become adult nightmares. Lifting the veil reveals all. The truth is stranger than fiction. Just ask Scully and Mulder.

Pretty sure nobody is wary. The whole thread is set up as a conversation between two people with no real specific direction.

That's what the Illuminati wants you to believe. You have been tricked once again.

At this rate, I doubt an all out declaration of war is needed to confirm the others involvement. They've already declared war on terror, with that idea in itself being umbrella for all other declarations of war. As to suggest the thought that any perceived act of terror is an act of war, people have come to be desensitized and accept this phraseworming to be commonplace. So, ultimately the next attack they call an act of terror is just another addition to the pile, whether it be of a physical attack (most of which are staged), or a political or economic move like China's currency. Maybe, just the way I see things from a stance of martial arts perspective. This war is always going on and it always starts at the non-physical and mental level of things. I consider the explosions in China to be attacks from the US and other powers to prevent China from declaring its own central currency apart from the IMF. Had it gone through, China's currency as a world currency would establish itself as a superpower more dominant than the US. In that case, it's already dragged in or involved. China and Russia already backed Iran back when US was trying to take down it's nuke program. To which stirred tensions. It's integrated already without the need for a formal declaration pinpointing or targeting the specific countries and parties involved.

Were Aldous Huxley and George Orwell warning us, or just informing us of what was to come?

Both. They were informing us what was to come, and warning us of the different methods that would be used to generate what was to come.

Here's my marshmallow on the grill...

I used to think about stuff like this all the time. Eventually, I realized it was contributing to my anxiety, depression and paranoia. So I quit trying to figure everything out and just let stuff be. Now I have a bit of peace and freedom from endless seeking. I don't watch TV, I try not to get wrapped up in politics or get involved in philosophical/ideological/psychological mind fuckery unless it has to do with my own way of being and my closest relationships. So what happens when everything that is external to us is figured out? When all of the pieces to the puzzle are put together and we know just who is doing what and for what purposes, what do we do? Would we still have to conquer our own minds?

What you are preaching is the classic red pill versus blue pill conundrum. You seem to be choosing the ignorance is bliss approach. That is your prerogative. I find that personally, when I attempt to adopt that mentality, it simply does not work for me for very long. I can't help but being a serious seeker. I am just built this way. I become anxious, depressed, and paranoid if I choose not to examine metaphysics. Morpheus' claim that Neo feels like he has a splinter in his brain really resonates with me. I happen to possess a strong Hermes archetype. It manifests itself as the seeker of meaning, the guide of souls, and the trickster. I truly believe that knowledge is power. I want to know the truth. The truth in my opinion is stranger than fiction. Life is about balance. It is possible to explore the rabbit hole without getting yourself trapped in it. But I guess not everyone is capable of mentally traveling back and forth between material reality and non material reality, or Hades, or the rabbit hole, or whatever realm you choose to explore. All I know is that I have benefitted from seeking greatly. It is enabling me to become healthier, happier, and more confident. The unexamined life is not worth living (according to Socrates). But it is not black and white. I think you need to find a healthy balance between seeking, analyzing, relaxing, and socializing. I want to be authentic, healthy, happy, and awake. Being happy and being enlightened are not mutually exclusive. As a matter of fact, many would argue that true happiness is a by product of becoming increasingly enlightened. I believe that once you grasp what is really going on in this world/cosmos/reality, you become liberated and empowered. You go from being like a house cat to a wild cat. Once someone told me there are two types of people in the world. Most are like ducks. A small minority are like swans. Ducks are primarily concerned with safety and security (A false sense of security is the only type there really is). Swans are primarily concerned with growth and freedom. I am a swan. I can't help it. This thread is for unapologetic swans who refuse to be controlled and manipulated like lab rats. I want to change my life. And I want to change the world. "If you want to make the world a better place take a look at yourself and make a change." So true. And in order to make desirable changes, it is in one's best interest to know what the hell is going on and what the hell you can do about it. Being oblivious to the darkness which shrouds this world will not enable an individual to evolve into a truly free person in my opinion. So everyone can do what ever they want to do. But I know within my soul I am here for certain specific reasons. One of which is to understand myself and all that I am exposed to. I never chose to be a seeker. I was born to be one though. I am tired and hungry. I think I have made my point. To each his own. But I want to be ready for the real future apocalypse or revealing/uncovering of the truth as it occurs. I think shit is about to get increasingly whack. And if you end up being shocked, I will simply state that I hate to say I told you so bro. What the fuck did I just write, yo?

Adding to what dang said and in response to you. I think it's rather the reverse that, when you figure out the internal world, the external figures itself out simultaneously. When you sort the internal, you have a means to actualize the visions of the internal and help humanity heal and evolve. The conquering of the mind is always a constant battle. We have to make our demons work for us like pets that we drag across the dark alley and take care of the bump in the night towards the gate of heaven and the fire that surrounds its entrance. I think we all have the healers, mystics, protectors, nurturers, and seekers within us, and the demons as well. The question becomes which do you choose to let rule over you or do you get them to work for you according to their proper place within your individual being's preferences and how you see them stack for you. Staying comfortable and content is up to you, though as someone who underwent the necessary pains or anxieties, it is necessary to endure the pains and sufferings with the truth in order to experience more everlasting and permanent joy. Happiness is a state of the body and is satiating much like hunger and thirst. It is temporary compared to joy imo. We can be passive observers to the events that be, but also be active in our efforts to heal and help sprout the seed to bear its fruit within the drought. It isn't a hopeless cause as the cynic would suggest or what others may have planted us to think, but it's up to you to come to that conclusion on your terms.
