Dealing with cognitive dissonance:attracted to personality but not looks

After reading and reflecting on what all of you said, yes,I have become pretty delusional. I thought I heard him and his friends below my block, listening to my singing and complimenting my singing. And I thought his friends were cheering and booing for certain things I said or did,and posted online. Like when I sent him a message,I heard them cheering. Then they boo-ed when I deleted the messages I sent for both of us in telegram. I guess it's probably not real, like the derogatory voices saying mean things to me. I have mental health conditions and it's clouding my judgement.
I'm glad you're able to recognize this. I hope you have the support you need for your mental health.

Yes.

What you've said here would be extremely concerning to most people.

Thanks for giving me the reality check.

Yea I am seeking professional help. I will probably use CBT strategies. Thanks for the affirmation and support.

That's a pretty hold thing to say/admit. It shows that you have some self-awareness too which will be helpful in the healing process.

You got this. ❤️

No @Deleted member 16771 lol....lets not make light of THAT. I'm just going to say it. You are seriously having auditory hallucinations that a guy and his friends would go out of the way of their own lives to cheer or boo your singing?..Then go on to say it "might" not be real. Voices in your head that are often abusive towards you are a classic symptom of schizophrenia or or one of the two subtypes. You SERIOUSLY need to get that under control before worrying about a "crush". How do you even know he actually rejected you and this wasn't related to the negative voices you're hearing? You say "mental health issues" have you or a doctor considered the possibility. Or maybe you've been misdiagnosed with another mental illness? Most women are misdiagnosed until about their late 20's when behavior just like you described results in social isolation. Idk man, its vital you get in to see your doctor, or a reference to a psychiatrist.
