David Tennant was/is romantically involved with the actress who plays his daughter. This may have been a reason why she was not brought back to the show while Tennant was still the Doctor. But, they could bring her back now, or use another actress, since with the Doctor's DNA, she can regenerate.

That season was way too short. At least we have the Christmas episode to look forward too. I hope it knocks our socks off. :D
 
I know! That was what, four episodes? The BBC is like that, though. They will prolong seasons like no one's business. On the plus side, they also renew shows you thought were long dead. Firefly would've still been on the air, I suspect. The new companion will be in the Christmas ep I think.
 
:O I only thought to start watching it properly now... BBC sucks royally.
 
Doctor Who The Day of the Doctors and Doctor Who Time of the Doctor specials are on tonight!!! Anyone watching?
