Fava beans and a nice chianti

toska and chulo Explain please. :D

People on PCP, crack, LSD, and sometimes even mushrooms will trip the hell out and lose all touch with reality. They will completely submit to the sub-conscious mind. All the dark and fearful thoughts they have been suppressing will emerge at once and for some people it's overwhelming. Hallucinogens are scaaarrryyy.

God, I saw that link on yahoo and was like OMG SCROLL DOWN BEFORE IMAGES APPEAR IN BRAIN.

God just think of all the parasites on the dudes face. AND OMG DUDE WHO LIVED... You got some dudes placque and problably-meth -mouth germs embedded in your skin.

Also ouch.

God this is disgusting. This is why Gays shouldn't marry. Things like this happen.

I think psychadelics are tools for self psychology but they are often mishandled

Because they have been outlawed and driven underground there is not the culturallly engrained respect for them that our ancestors once held for them. We as a culture are also perhaps ignorant of their nature and as a result of our own nature.

They've been outlawed because the elites do not want people exploring the inner realms....they want us fixated on the material

Arguably the world is the crazy place that it is because people have become so out of touch with their unconscious minds which is what psychadelics can bridge the gap between (if used correctly and responsibly)

Here's a website with some more info: http://www.erowid.org/

I think people are too happy on meth to chew faces, even though they end up looking like they've had their faces chewed.

People on meth are too horny to do much besides screw and try to work really really hard.

according to a study by Johns Hopkins researchers;

"People who had mystic experiences while taking the mushrooms were more likely to show increases in a personality trait dubbed “openness,” which is related to creativity, artistic appreciation and curiosity, according to the study in the Journal of Psychopharmacology. The change was still in place a year later, suggesting a long-term effect.

“The remarkable piece is that psilocybin can facilitate experiences that change how people perceive themselves and their environment,” said Roland Griffiths, a study author and professor of psychiatry and behavioral science at Johns Hopkins University of Medicine in Baltimore. “That’s unprecedented.”

Magic mushrooms, also known as “shrooms,” are hallucinogens native to tropical and subtropical regions of South America, Mexico and the U.S. The fungi were favored by former Harvard psychologist Timothy Leary, who founded the Harvard Psilocybin Project, and explored by ‘60s writer and anthropologist Carlos Castaneda. They are typically eaten but can also be dried and smoked or made into a tea.

Openness is one of five major personality factors known to be constant throughout multiple cultures, heritable in families and largely unvarying throughout a person’s lifetime. The other four factors, extroversion, neuroticism, agreeableness and conscientiousness, were unchanged by being dosed with the hallucinogenic mushrooms, the study found. This is the first finding of a short-term intervention providing a long-term personality change, researchers said. "

Interesting!

So we have these plants growing naturally that increase peoples creativity and the government bans them lol!

Here's Terence McKenna talking about his theory that mushrooms may have played a part in humankinds evolution:

I"m going with some type of drug induced episode myself. Naked usually indicates PCP and violent behavior usually indicates PCP. I'm with those who said PCP. Stuff can mess you up bad. Of course Crank is pretty bad too. Meth heads can be violent after they have been up for like 3 days but it does a trip on the body and they don't get that superhuman strength like PCP gives. I have heard about weed dipped in formaldehyde that is suppoed to cause weird behavior.

Side Note:
I don't know about the whole "plot" to subject mankind by denying it good trips but I do think the inordinate amount of effort (in the US) on the drug wars is ridiculous. I think petty laws about weed and such make it easier for the powers that be to move us closer to a military state. You are in a bad part of town, I don't know you did something wrong, but I can pull you over for being in this neighborhood (oh yea and most of you pulled over will be brown/black). I always say get that white haired white grandma to be the drug mule, ain't nobody pulling her over "just because". The idea that the state/government has to "protect" us from ourselves is kinda ridiculous. I am always surprised that those "less government" types aren't on board with decriminalizing drugs. I mean, you take away that personal responsibility and then people use these excuses when they do stupid stuff. If it is legal, you don't have any excuse for your bad behavior and are responsible for your actions. Decriminalize it all.

There've been a number of cannibalism reports in the US in the past week. I can't find the articles, unfortunately.

We dedicated half a meeting at work to realistic survival in this impending zombie apocalypse.

Cardio and the double tap seem to be important factors for surviving the zombies

I don't think this article alone is sufficient to determine whether the attack was prompted by drug-induced psychosis or an organic mental illness (or some combination). Having worked in a forensic psychiatric hospital, specifically with NCR patients (people who succeeded in using the modern equivalent of the insanity defense), the best litmus test the psychiatrists have is usually to take the patient off meds in a maximum security ward and see if they're still psychotic after enough time has elapsed (i.e. when drug effects would have otherwise worn off). It can be a pretty complicated issue, as an overwhelming proportion of patients tend to be substance abusers. Drugs can simulate illness, or they can exacerbate existing ones. In this case, the prospective patient is already dead, unfortunately...

That is true but statistially, "natural" psychosis isn't as prevelant as drug induced. In long term drug uses it is often difficult to tell if the mental issue was underlying or if the drug use induced it. Kinda like chicken or the egg.

nom nom nombody saw this coming?

I like his taste in men!

I heard of sucking face... but this?

^^That is the only other U.S. one I have heard of..

Is it more prevalent or is it just being reported more? A woman ate her 3 week old son in 2009... Last week was the first time I heard of that story. A little agenda setting, perhaps? The Miami story is everywhere. You'd of had to have been locked in a closet all week to not have heard about it.

My dad thinks zombie movies and zombie targets (that you can buy at gun shops for the range) are propaganda to desensitize us to a biological attack in which there really is a zombie apocalypse or some kind of Mad-maxian future at least.
(He also believes the Russians invented Hippies in the '60's to make America weak, though...so...)

I think it's really annoying that US news outlets are reporting that the cause of the Miami cannibal attack was drugs. No you don't fucking know. Toxicology reports won't be out for weeks. (I wish the news reported only facts instead of filler speculation. C'est la vie..) I still check daily to see if there is any change in Mr. Poppo's status, though... It is horrifically sad for him... I can't imagine what he will go through the rest of his life. At least the hospital is going to provide care for him regardless of ability to pay--even do facial reconstruction surgery for him. They are trying to raise money for his other medical expenses, too (mental health expenses.)

Anyway.
What if people are just going insane and eating people because it is nature's way of balancing things... people have no known predators--besides one another?
/crackpot.

The papers in the UK are saying that he took something called 'bath salts' which was until recently (possibly still is) legal to buy here. A mate of mine tried it....said it was pretty fucked up

I agree with Stormy1 that if the government just legalised pot they would avoid a lot of these problems.

Bath Salts?

It isn't really bath salts - is it?
Bath salts (Epsom Salt) has a minerals compound of sulfur and magnesium in it. How could anyone get high on that?

EDIT: I agree with both of you. Legalize MJ and everyone will be a lot happier. No need for the other stuff. Governments are trying to keep people from being happy so they keep buying corporate products....and politicians lies.
