I think Fi has more 'engagement' than (Ni)Fe in this case.

Fi is more 'solid' - Fe more 'airy'. One reifies feeling, the other dissolves.

Hmmm. I don't know what this means, but I don't think I agree.

Anyway, this might be a matter of mere semantics. I've almost never come across an Fe user I would describe as 'ethereal', but plenty of Fi users (especially women).

If a user has strong Ni I might sometimes see them as 'abstract'.
