Hubble measurements suggest a faster expansion rate in the modern universe than expected.

93BN Lightyears, crazy. By the way what's also fascinating is that we currently are at a specific era of the Universe in which we can observe its size.
If we existed sooner (forming of the universe's structure) or later (due to its expansion) we would not have been able to observe/deduce it as-is. Fascinating times.

Pushed in my youtube recommendations btw, also interesting:

For those who love astrophysics... I very very highly recommend the show PBS Space Time. The script is always incredibly thoughtful and the host Mat excellently explains complex ideas in a way that is very digestible to the layman, without dumbing it down very much!

Within under ten hours of binge watching, I had seriously expanded my understanding of the concepts of the geometry of spacetime, black holes, dark energy, etc. And have revisited many past episodes to gain more insight on these concepts.

By far the best astronomy show I've encountered, and it's free to watch online, either on PBS website or Youtube.

+1 , it's a very good channel, best to start with the first videos though because in the later ones they tend to refer a lot to the previous videos.

Here's a list of channels I recommend for Space/Science for comfy binging:
