LOL....I think the 2 less than knowledgable reporters were struggling with their feelings of inadequacy regarding the topic - and acted even more stupid so as to seem funny. To me they seemed nervous.

I had recently read where the pole had been shifting towards Canada for a good while - then suddenly changed that tack and swung towards Siberia.

Earth's north magnetic pole is racing toward Russia at almost 40 miles (64 kilometers) a year due to magnetic changes in the planet's core, new research says.

The core is too deep for scientists to directly detect its magnetic field. But researchers can infer the field's movements by tracking how Earth's magnetic field has been changing at the surface and in space.

Now, newly analyzed data suggest that there's a region of rapidly changing magnetism on the core's surface, possibly being created by a mysterious "plume" of magnetism arising from deeper in the core.

And it's this region that could be pulling the magnetic pole away from its long-time location in northern Canada, said Arnaud Chulliat, a geophysicist at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris in France.

I find the whole concept fascinating. The Earth and us and the Sun (and probably all of the planets and then the universe) are all connected by the magnetism.

I am an INFJ in the Army...in Afghanistan, well for a few more days at least, but deep down I'm sure I'd rather be at the soft toy department!!

I'm happy to see you steering away from the guns. :nod:

Now INTENTION is something I'm trying to incorporate in my daily routine.

But most of all - I agree with you that love is the center - well - of everything. It's the alpha and the omega. It's there when all else fails. I've seen it happen again and again.

Ok. How 'bout we call this "The Army of Loving Hearts" ?

Crazy how history is repeating itself.....so many of the events of the past (especially in the 60's) are being echoed now

Each generation just forgets the lessons that are learned! It's all been done before

Yes that's true each generation seems to have to learn it all over again.

I think it's because Corporations 'live' endlessly. They exist in perpetuity. Man on the other hand dies too soon.
Knowledge is not passed on from generation to generation. That is left up to the schools and the corporations make it so it's either not taught - or taught incorrectly. I know you've seen that happen.
Corporations can start legal proceedings that last forever because it can keep hiring lawyers even when the old ones die off. Humans can't keep fighting against them because they exhaust all of their resources including themselves.
It seems we are always fighting against them(the rich powerful dynasties).

Or do you think it's because humans can't live long enough to attain any wisdom? If one is always fighting (working like a slave) to survive each day - when is there time to sit and ponder life's complexities?

I remember hearing someone tell me: "Just tell me what to do - I don't want to have to think!". And I've heard that kind of statement many times in the last 2 years.

Maybe our army should be willing to tell people what to think...hahahahaha. Then we could be the Love Fox News of America. :lol:
