I have played the guitar for 40 years. I'm not really good, but good enough. I'm left-handed and so always played classical guitars. Whenever I am at home and want music, I pick up my guitar and make it myself. I seldom play entire songs...just wherever the notes take me. Something happens in me when I do this...it sounds good and feels good. It is coming out and going back in. It seems to comes from a place deep inside, and connects me to this place.
 
Argh... I knew I did it somewhere else. Not sure why i can't repeat it and I did what you suggested jm.
