Jelly vs jam

Lol If everyone realizes this why doesn't anyone do anything about it? Americans get bored with all the amazing flavors and deep fry stuff or combine everything to create even more exciting flavors!
You have no idea how much of a novelty 'herbs and spices' are in some places...

I think about how my mum cooks, and it's literally:

1) If it used to move, bake it in an oven.
2) If it never moved, boil it in water.

Seasoning? What's that?

Hahahaha yes they’re the only 2 rules you need to live by to become an half decent English chef :tearsofjoy:

I'm really sorry, guys :(

OK I just googled it:

Wikipedia said:
The ingredients include a varying combination of tomatoes, molasses, dates, apples, tamarind, spices, vinegar, and sometimes raisins.
WTF, that's crazy! How can we make so much sweet fruit taste so weird?

LMAO

What goes with molasses and sweet fruit?

Everyone else: Hmm, maybe ice cream, or...
The English: Idk vinegar?

We have two kinds of sauce: Brown and Red.

Red Sauce is what you guys know as 'ketchup'.

Brown Sauce we literally cannot describe to you, except that it tastes brown.

I know most of us English love brown sauce but I have a little confession to make. I’m fully aware that this may taint my reputation as a true northerner but.....

I haven’t tried brown sauce.... ever. I find it intimidating and I don’t know why :tearsofjoy:
