Last film you watched, Part 2

Watched Predator 2. I enjoyed it, more than the first even.

Seems like I'm one of the few. 25% Rotten Tomatoes? Seriously? It may not be incredible, but's it enjoyable and Danny Glover is actually pretty good as the protagonist.

Just watched today.

Lucy - liked it. Ending left a little to be desired but was worth it none the less.
Guardians of the universe - ok. Good but stupid too.
Noah - err...I dont really understand why this movie was made. Religious folks wont like it and non religious folks wont know why...just why.

A.I. - Artificial Intelligence

This movie rubs some people the wrong way, but this has got to be one of my favourites, if not, the favourite, movie of all time. Made me think whether it would be morally right to create a robot whose sole purpose is to love, but would never get equal love back in return, which seems like an existence of torment.

Say David's just a robot programmed to act a certain way, or say he's suffering from tunnel vision and is willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish that one goal. I just know I really related to him. Hayley Joel Osment and the John Williams' soundtrack make the film memorable.

Olympus Has Fallen - OK, more like a Die Hard movie than anything of well-done characterization or story-line - good cinematography though.

Guardians of the Galaxy - Meh. It was okay and the humor was more hit than miss, but it felt predictable and safe. I'm also getting kinda tired of straight white males saving the world.

Wait, hold on. Are you suggesting Die Hard doesn't have well written characterization and a story line on par with Citizen Kane?

yes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the Micheal Bay film. It was pretty horrible... Turtles were great, they didn't mess up the turtles, the rest of it though.... gah *smh*

I want to see that movie, but I also don't want to. Do you see my problem?

Dude, they made the turtles aliens.

I so don't want to see that movie.

I probably will watch it eventually anyway.

UGGGHH.

I last watched Hook.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children.

My parents thought it was a porno without seeing it because of Denzel constantly gasping and grunting. It was so, so irritating.

It was basically "Cloud has a motorbike and everyone else in the team is useless because oh look Cid has an airship let's all stay in it and not help Cloud fight"!

Tifa should not have gone down that easily. And why were the weirdo Sephiroth fragments always telling each other not to cry? I wasn't really paying attention to them.

Ugh.

TheDaringHatTrick -I felt the same, but I get to see it for free so I said 'fuck it' and decided to go see it. After seeing it I still have those same kinds of mixed feelings =/
Jill Hives -The turtles look weird sure, in the stills people have posted, but if you pay attention to their outfits they're actually pretty cool. Mikey looks like a fucking freak, that is for sure, but he's still Mikey and I that's what matters. They didn't fuck with the characters of the turtles so much as the supporting characters which really did ruin the story of the thing. I don't know how I feel about it, I don't like it but at the same time I'm glad Mikey is Mikey, and Raphael is Raph =/ mixed feelings all around. Fucking Michael Bay -_- he did ruin it, but he also kept the key characters in tact, kinda... Donatello had like no air time O.o

Beware the Gonzo

Watching "winters tale" . Think you infjs would like it a great deal. I personally find it strange the suggestion we become stars when we die.....

Ok so its actually a little bit... unsettling. Shes rolling off the names of stars.

Oculus, it was about a brother and sister who try to destroy an evil mirror that drove their parents mad as children, and nearly killed them too. I liked it, except for the predictable ending.
