Last film you watched, Part 2

Far from the Madding Crowd. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie this much, but then again I love Thomas Hardy's books. I really lost myself in that movie.

The Kingsmen Secret Service - more modern, exciting and youthful adaptation of james bond saga. enjoy it a great deal...colin firth and samuel jackson makes for great addition to the action packed flick.

Unbroken - OK but preferred watching the actual interview with Louis Zamperini than the film.

Pride and Prejudice

was pretty cool watching yet another meaningless action film

Watched Seconhand Lions for the third time. Fantastic movie! They're out in rural Texas with an attitude. I love it!

Black Moon (1975)

this is so odd and disturbing. i didn't like it because it reminded me too much of my own dreams. watch it anyway.

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015)

didn't like it as much as the first. i tend to zone out when the explosions go on for more than 30 seconds, but the Hulk sequences were good. certain characters that are supposed to be in X-Men made me angry. still no Spiderman...

Yeah i was disappointed with Ultron as well. Wasn't bad, just didn't live up to the hype IMO. Didn't take itself seriously enough; maybe these superhero movies aren't for me. The only one I completely enjoyed was Captain America: Winter Solider. Moody, tense, well done.

Was kinda cool watching Thor and Cap work together though with the shield and hammer.

Kingsman:The Secret Service

It had a few high points, but my god was it dumb. I mean we're talking "Batman and Robin" levels of sheer idiocy here. Really, it has to be one the stupidest movies I've ever watched. I suppose it could be fun if you can turn your mind off. I doubt that would even be enough. You would need to put your mind into a deep deep coma to avoid seeing about all the plot holes and nonsense.

glad someone agrees. Most people i know loved it; was just too stupid and silly for me.

The Avengers film - can't remember the name!

It was something to pass the time - probably be the last avengers film I see. Made me think that it's a shame that there aren't more opportunities to see independent films rather than the generic ones that everyone knows about. Must make that happen.

i caught the second half of "Man On Fire" with Denzel Washington, he is a good artist and also he is dreamy and a hunk.

Age of Utron, thought Spader was great.

I had to run a search on Spader and then had an “Oh him” moment — I never knew that!)……yes he was a little creepy…his mannerisms reminded me a little of the joker from the dark knight. I always find certain British accents in American movies very annoying…so wasn’t particularly keen on Paul Bettany.
