Last film you watched, Part 2

Nymphomania Directed by Lars Von Trier - weird, difficult to watch in places. Really sticks with you, amazing performances. An exploration/medication on female sexuality? Maybe unclassifiable. Likely a masterpiece. Nordic sensibility. In two parts, 5 hours long. On Netflix. Stacy Martin and Charlotte Gainsbourg amazing...

Jungle Book. Went to see it with some friends, it was ok, not my favourite though.

Really enjoyed Captain America Civil War before that though.

A few days ago I watched The Signal. I had been wanting to see this since I saw the trailer long ago but never got around to it. It was the most what the fuck movie I've watched in a while. It took some weird turns, and ended pretty much how I had predicted it would, but the beginning and middle were very what the fuck.

10 Cloverfield Lane.
Good movie and well worth the watch. It reminds me of what movies are supposed to be.
It was predictable in it trying not to be predictable. Still, I didnt guess the ending like I do so many so yeah, great watch.

The movie was worth the watch but...put oddly together Imo. Still I think the guys stated they were fairly new to making movies so I guess thats to be expected.

Yea that makes sense. It was like almost a really great movie but some of the transitions and scene developments were a bit choppy. Great script though.

Zootopia
:)

Probably something on Hulu. But the last one I remember in theaters was Captain America: Civil War. I enjoyed it, fangirl that I am. But I also have quite a list on my "to see" list.

Indeed! :D Although to be honest, I think I would've preferred another actor as Dr. Strange (ol' Benny just has a different vibe to me), but I'm definitely looking forward to it, and I'm curious to see how the MCU's gonna pull it off.

Independence Day: Resurgence (2016)

I have nothing else to say than... I absolutely loved it!!! :D

Also, one of the characters is like a Poké Ball. :P

(I haven't never been fan of Pokémon, but it looked like it, lol)

Independence Day: Resurgence

It was fun but... I prefer the prequel. It was fun seeing Jeff Goldblum again though. What a good-looking man for his age.

Saw Legends of Tarzan this weekend. It was a fun film, typical jungle action film.

Me Before You (2016)

Such a touching movie... Cried a bit and laughed too. It was funny and also really heartbreaking, romantic drama movie.

It definitely made me think about love and death in general.

Sarah's Key (2010). Very good film.
In modern-day Paris, a journalist finds her life becoming entwined with a young girl whose family was torn apart during the notorious Vel' d'Hiv roundup in 1942, where 10,000 Jews were kept in a winter velodrome before being sent off to the concentration camps. Winner of the Audience Award at the 2010 Tokyo International Film Festival. Directed Gilles Paquet-Brenner and stars Kristin Scott Thomas, Mélusine Mayance and Niels Arestrup.
