Last film you watched, Part 2

Started watching Cats, since it was one of those I was looking forward to seeing, but 10-15 mind in, and it just didn't click. I don't think the story was set up well before all the singing and dancing began. I exchanged it for Jumanji, which I'd been promising myself to see, and that was fun. It's interesting seeing them try to embody different personalities or characters in the same body.

Curious, had you seen the play . . .I've seen the broadway production and wonder how it is if you know the play and story

Not really a movie (though i've seen it), but posting for the holy-f-look-at-the-effort factor

Couple remakes coming up:

Secret Garden - 2020
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt2702920/

Dune - 2020
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1160419/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

No a remake, but it's Top Gun, baby - 2020
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1745960/

I saw the trailer for The Secret Garden and I think it's overdone. I absolutely adore the 1993 version; I don't think they can touch it. Even though Colin Firth is in it:))

DUNE! Yes. And seems like the perfect time/mood for it now:sweatsmile:

Top Gun look phenomenal; 4 IMAX cameras mounted on and in the jets:) And of course Tom Cruise:)

Yeah, especially eager for Dune, as the director of Blade Runner 2049 is doing that one, and I love the color use in there.
By the way, the original Dune movie is a couple posts up in this thread.
