Movies or Scenes That Made You Cry.

Last movie I cried at was "Star Trek" (yeeees, Star Trek - specifically the opening scene).

Last movie I completely bawled over (seriously bawled) was Seven Pounds, with Will Smith.

this are just a few..I cry way to easily...

The only movie that's ever really made me cry is Marley & Me.

I don't really know why. I've seen it about five times, and every time I end up bawling. It's the strangest thing, though, because I find the film sort of generally boring. But it's just that part at the end with the oldest kid when they're doing the funeral for the dog.

I don't cry most of the time, but I tear up a lot. Here are some of the ones that have done it for me in the past.

* The Notebook (my favorite romantic movie)

* The Last Samuri (lots of very emotional scenes)

* The Parent Trap (yeah the new one with Lindsey Lohan so sue me!)

* 50 First Dates (I'm a sucker for Drew Barrymore)

* A.I.---damn that kid from the 6th sense!!!

The only movie that really brought me to tears was The Notebook and I cry every single time I watch it. Which is why I only watch it alone because I end up bawling, and that never goes over well for some reason.

I feel healthy when I get to cry and laugh at least once a day. The worst period of my life was when I couldn't cry for years. Anyway, so I often watch movies that make me cry, and can't even count them. Recently, I don't watch almost any movies, that are not documentaries, though. Kinda got fed up with all the fiction stories in movies and books. Crying is not necessarily from sadness. More like, overwhelming feeling. For example, extreme beauty. My senses about the world are very musical, vibrant, so often at the core of the effect is some soundtrack. When combined with the right situation, it could be very powerful. But I guess you don't need such types of examples, maybe they won't affect other people the same way. So here are some very popular ones, from the top of my head:

P.S. I feel much stronger now, because I'm able to cry, compared to the period when I couldn't. Crying is like a regenerating force, similar to sleeping and drinking water. I actually can't cry when I'm very sad. When I cry I'm much more alive, and emotional, and decisive/powerful/creative.

Requiem for a Dream, on the other hand. That one almost made me vomit ... literally. The only time I've ever had that kind of physical response to a film.
That film was so horrible but so good D: It really did make you want to curl into the fetal position at the end.

Uhm... no films have made me cry, or TV programs, apart from Kanon 2006 and Utawarerumono (the second one surprised me, it just seemed very cliche at first but it was pretty touching).

I usually almost cry at things to do with animals, but few films ever really deal with animal deaths.

7 Pounds almost made me cry, but not because of the obvious bit XP It was
SPOILER!!!!
When the blind guy got his sight back - I was all ;.; it was so sweet.<-- highlight to see.

Probably shouldn't admit this, but I cried when the girl died in Bridge To Terabithia.

The most recent was near the end of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. I can't think of any others at the moment, in fact; that's how great that movie was. (With all due respect to Slumdog Millionaire, I think Benjamin Button deserved best picture).

I tend to be more moved by pure epicness, not so much what people normally refer to as "tearjerkers." The cavalry charge scene in Braveheart, for example, was one I found very affective, along with a few parts of the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

I just saw Crazy Heart and teared up at the last scene.

Also, I'm pretty sure everyone and their respective dogs cried when they saw this scene from Up.

I don't cry at movies, but Fiona's sentence:" You, Charlie!" is just heartbreaking...or that sad one "Friends is quite something..."

John Q, when he was talking to his son just before he shoots himself. That made me cry.

every scene of the movie 'UP'

Probably shouldn't admit this, but I cried when the girl died in Bridge To Terabithia.

I did too! Like a BABY. I cried more for her friend, though, who seemed so terribly lost and unable to come to terms with what happened.

I felt the same way with My Girl (the Macaulay Culkin movie). Movies with kids in severe distress (dramas) always do me in. :(

I usually cry when the scene has a very emotional score to go with it... The music is essential to arouse emotion in me. I cried at The Fountain's end when Tom took the ring out of his hand and inked his skin. I cried to The Atonement, when the guy died.
