Myers-Brigg & Dating Profiles

It's strange that we even need it.

With urbanization we're around more people than ever but feel so atomized, like a sick urban planner's joke.

This is the book you must read if you get cynical about it — by France's very own Michel Houellebecq:

if my taste for love meant intellectually chess matching someone for the rest of my life, they would do
I think that is more INTJs than ENTJs.

ENTJs are more focused on accomplishing things. Marry an ENTJ woman and you'll be waking up early for the rest of your life.

I'm staying with an ENTP friend for a few days and he was complaining last night that despite his other achievements, he was still struggling with getting up early in the morning even though that was his goal. Now I know what to tell him: marry an ENTJ woman.

Yeah, I'm more attached to results than ideas.

Your results as regards the goal of taking a break from the forum are not very impressive, Pinny.

I'm joking, ya know I'm delighted to see you're still around :p

Already on my Amazon reading list. Thanks. ;)

It's a great book, quite visionary I think and also extremely funny. I laughed out loud so many times reading it and other books by Michel.

There's nothing like his humour, it's so dark and at the same time there is still a touch of humanity in it.

Hmmm. What about MBTI on resumes or curriculum vitae? What do you guys think?

NO

It labels you as a believer in a pseudoscience (MBTI).

Maybe it could be done in a subtle way that the employer would recognize if they are initiated, like a tiny unicorn next to your name or something if you're INFJ, a tiny robot if you're INTP, tiny Voldemort for INTJ, etc.
